Phantom Blade Zero is a wuxia action RPG developed by S-GAME, set in a martial arts world steeped in blood feuds and intrigue. You step into the role of Soul—a warrior framed for murdering his master, stricken with a fatal wound directly at his heart, and left with only 66 days to live. Hunted across the realm, Soul must fend off relentless assassins and unmask a far-reaching conspiracy that threatens to unravel the world before his time runs out.
What sets Phantom Blade Zero apart is its striking kungfupunk aesthetic: time-honored martial arts and cold-forged weaponry stand alongside intricate mechanical contrivances, industrial ruins, traditional Chinese artistry, and hard-hitting modern rock music. Drawing inspiration from the golden age of wuxia cinema, every encounter unfolds with the rhythm and choreography of a blockbuster swordplay scene.
Following the breakout success of Black Myth: Wukong, Phantom Blade Zero has emerged as one of the most anticipated titles from Chinese developers—carrying the torch to bring authentic Chinese martial arts to players worldwide. Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game uses state-of-the-art motion capture and is guided by legendary fight directors from classic wuxia films; the development team even traveled to sacred sites such as Mount Wudang to faithfully recreate real-world martial arts forms in-game.
Published by S-GAME Publishing, Phantom Blade Zero launches October 29, 2026, so user reviews on Neogkey are not yet available. A major advantage for players in the Philippines: the game ships with full interface and subtitle support in English, with local accessibility prioritized.
Gameplay Experience
Your journey begins as Soul wanders the realm alone—fleeing pursuers while piecing together clues to the mastermind behind the plot against him. You will enter the Shadow Realm, a place where light and darkness intertwine, where every mystery—from the Flower of Memories to the Goddess Mother and the Illusory Void—leads to deeper truths. Venture off the beaten path, and you will uncover hidden passages, branching paths, and elaborate mechanisms designed to reward curiosity and exploration.
Combat is the heart of Phantom Blade Zero: blades clash and spark as you dodge, parry, and counterattack in fluid, relentless sequences where victory or defeat can turn in an instant. Combo systems are rooted in authentic martial arts—easy to pick up, but deeply rewarding to master—including styles such as Drunken Fist.
As you progress, your arsenal expands to include 30+ primary weapons and 20+ Spectral Blades claimed from fallen foes—each with its own distinct moveset—letting you adapt your playstyle to every opponent rather than relying on a single weapon.

Who Is Phantom Blade Zero For?
If you enjoyed Black Myth: Wukong and want another visually stunning Chinese action title with weighty, impactful combat, Phantom Blade Zero belongs on your list. The atmosphere evokes beloved wuxia films—where every fight is a beautifully staged dance of skill.
The developers have not labeled this a soulslike; difficulty is expected to be comparable to Black Myth: Wukong—accessible to casual players, but with depth for those who want to master perfectly timed dodges and parries.
Fans of martial arts and wuxia lore will feel right at home with classic themes of honor, revenge, and authentic fighting styles. Full support for Xbox and PlayStation controllers is included—with the team recommending controller play for the most immersive experience.
