Ys X: Proud Nordics marks the grand return of the legendary action RPG known as Nihon Falcom's "adventure blockbuster." With expanded story content and new exploration, this upgraded version offers the most complete experience for fans of the Ys game series.

The adventure takes place at Obelia Bay, where Adol Christin – the legendary red-haired explorer – meets Karja Balta, the Norman pirate princess. The two are forced to cooperate in the battle against the immortal Griegr creatures and uncover the mystery of the vast Öland island.

The breakthrough Cross Action system allows players to control independently or coordinate both main characters. In Solo Mode, you focus on speed and extremely fast attack combos. Meanwhile, Combo Mode brings cooperative power and the ability to build the Revenge Gauge to unleash devastating attacks.

The completely new Mana Actions include Mana String – allowing you to swing like Tarzan to reach distant places, Mana Ride with the Grimble Board skateboard to glide on water and participate in speed races, along with Mana Burst to unleash the power of fire and ice elements in both combat and exploration.

Divine Realm Muspelheim is the hardest dungeon ever in the series with strict time limits, deadly traps, and powerful bosses. Use Deep Crystals to adjust the difficulty and expand exploration capabilities in this divine realm.

The Steam version is perfectly optimized to support ultra-wide 21:9 screens and frame rates exceeding 60fps. The new DirectX 12 engine along with Intel XeSS, NVIDIA DLSS, and AMD FSR technologies deliver unprecedented image quality and performance.

The story expands with new characters Canute Gamley – a genius warrior known as "Cold-blooded Canute" and Astrid Zayren – the Norman shield sister. Both will join Adol and Karja to explore the mysterious origin of Mana power and the history of the Norman people.

With over 37 years of development, the Ys game series has sold more than 4.8 million copies worldwide and is hailed as one of the most classic action RPG series from Japan. Ys X: Proud Nordics continues that legacy with smooth gameplay, legendary soundtrack, and a true sense of adventure.
