Void War is a space strategy game combined with roguelike elements, where you command an ancient warship through a dark universe filled with mysterious technology. Deeply inspired by FTL: Faster Than Light and the grim universe of Warhammer 40K, the game offers a tense spaceship management and space combat experience with a unique techno-gothic style.

Your mission is to pilot the combat ship through six dangerous space zones, facing hostile factions from fanatic cults, space pirates, to paranoid extremists. Each journey is a separate story with hundreds of random encounters, forcing you to make difficult decisions that affect the fate of the crew and the warship.

The warship management system in Void War is extremely detailed and complex. You need to balance between weapons, upgrade modules, and reactor energy to optimize combat capability. The game allows you to arrange upgrades into powerful combos, turning the ship into a fearsome killing machine. However, enemies can do the same to you, creating intense battles that require sophisticated tactics.

One of the highlights of the game is the diverse crew system with six different factions, from the armored gunmen Imperial Enforcers to witches using psychic powers. Each member can be customized with countless weapons and combat equipment. You can control them to participate in bloody landings on enemy ships, watch them crush enemies or sacrifice themselves in the fierce battle in space.

The game uses a real-time combat system with a unique boarding mechanism through a small transport pod attached to the enemy ship's weak point. Magical weapons like "Grave Beam" can summon demons onto the enemy ship, creating highly creative tactical situations. Your commander plays an important role – if they fall, the battle ends immediately.

Void War offers extremely high replayability with over 30 controllable warships, 13 unique commanders, and the Torment system with 12 progressively increasing difficulty levels. Each playthrough brings a new experience with random encounters, powerful relics to discover, and choices that deeply impact the story.

The game setting is a dark techno-gothic future with the declining Solar empire. You will meet technological magi cults, royal defectors, demon lords, and many other unique characters. Recruit them, fight with them, or make decisions that shape the crew's fate on the journey to the legendary Crypt of Souls.

The game requires deep tactical skills as you have to manage resources like Scrap Metal and Munitions to upgrade systems, buy equipment, and recruit crew members. Choices at the shrine can unlock hidden scenario options, but also bring unforeseen consequences. The faction system allows you to interact with various groups, each with its own characteristics and fighting style.
