Unholy is a captivating psychological horror game, putting the player in the role of Dorothea – a desperate mother searching for her son Gabriel after the boy was kidnapped by a mysterious cult. To find her son, Dorothea must infiltrate a parallel world full of haunting and bizarre elements.

The plot revolves around Spring of Eternity – a dangerous cult that performed a dark ritual with Gabriel. Dorothea, a former member of this cult, must cross mystical boundaries to reach Eternal City – where pain and fear reign. A mysterious old woman will guide her to uncover secrets and hidden powers in the journey to rescue her son.

Players will explore two parallel worlds: a cold post-Soviet city and the Eternal City full of bizarre creatures. Each space hides unique challenges and enemies, requiring players to use intelligence and skills to overcome.

The unique combat system with emotional weapons allows Dorothea to use anger, sadness, and desire as special bullets. Each type of emotion has its own effect such as destroying obstacles, blurring the enemy's vision, or activating special mechanisms in the environment.

The stealth factor plays an important role when Dorothea has to hide in lockers and avoid enemies. Skillful use of emotional bullets to disrupt or stun opponents is the key to survival in this dangerous world.

The artistic design of Unholy stands out with a dark and haunting style, from the gloomy streets to the bizarre corridors of Eternal City. The sound and soundtrack are meticulously crafted, contributing to the creation of a distinctive horror atmosphere.

However, the game still has some limitations such as controls sometimes not being responsive and the enemy AI not being truly intelligent. The variety of enemies is also a weakness as the experience can become monotonous in the later stages.
