Total Conflict: Resistance is a breakthrough combat strategy game that combines 3 unique game modes: first-person perspective, tactical, and global strategic. The game is set in the country of Cambridia – a wealthy island nation now plunged into crisis and civil war due to the incompetence of the government.

In first-person perspective mode, players can directly control and command individual soldiers or troops with many tactical options. The detailed damage zones system for both infantry and vehicles, combined with realistic ballistics, brings tense and authentic battles.

The tactical mode allows military commanders to view from a high angle with options for formation, movement mode, and weapon usage. Players can coordinate large-scale battles of up to 200 people simultaneously on the tactical map.

The weapon system is extremely diverse with about 50 types of rifles, pistols, machine guns, and rocket launchers. Each type of weapon can be customized through a dedicated editor with stocks, grips, magazines, scopes, silencers, and other parts.

The game features a rich collection of military vehicles ranging from civilian cars, armored vehicles, troop carriers to tanks and self-propelled artillery. All can be controlled from first-person or third-person perspectives with realistic physics, sound, and effects.

Players can customize equipment for soldiers with a variety of uniforms, camouflage, armor, helmets, and gas masks. The military template system allows the creation of regular and special units with their own equipment.

The logistics system plays an important role when players have to transport ammunition, weapons, food, medical supplies, and fuel to the battlefield. Various trucks help transport soldiers and goods to the front line.

In terms of strategy, the detailed map of the island is divided into many provinces with rich diplomatic and internal political activities. Players can participate in political events, issue decrees, and research new technologies.

The air force plays a strategic role with the ability to conduct air strikes, reconnaissance, and airborne landing operations. Players can plan and coordinate air activities to support ground forces.

The political system is diverse with many factions from the left to the right, democratic, republican, and monarchist. Different countries and religions create a vibrant world with many diplomatic choices and conflicts.

The game focuses on realism with a detailed physics and ballistics system. Each bullet and warhead has its own muzzle velocity, armor penetration capability, and flight trajectory, creating intense battles that require skill.
