The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan is the first interactive horror game in The Dark Pictures Anthology series from developer Supermassive Games. The game is inspired by the true legend of the ghost ship SS Ourang Medan, offering a haunting horror experience with a mysterious storyline and diverse gameplay.

The story begins in 1947 on a World War II ship in the South Pacific, where mysterious horrific events occurred. In the present time, a group of 5 young friends on a fun diving trip suddenly get trapped on the ghost ship full of terrifying things.

The game allows players to control 5 different characters and make decisions that directly affect their fate. Each choice can lead to the death of any character, creating multiple story branches and different endings. The QTE (Quick Time Events) scenes require quick reflexes, adding to the tension.

Graphics and visual effects are meticulously invested with realistic motion capture technology, featuring the participation of famous actor Shawn Ashmore. The game delivers a haunting horror atmosphere through scare scenes and gruesome images that are intricately designed.

Man of Medan supports many diverse game modes. Players can experience solo play, online co-op with friends, or join the Movie Night mode allowing up to 5 players offline simultaneously. The playtime is about 4-5 hours per session, but with many different story branches, the game has high replay value.

The latest upgraded version adds many attractive features: customizable difficulty, QTE warnings, improved interface, refreshed graphics, faster movement speed, and many accessibility options. Especially, there is a new chapter "Flooded" with new deaths in the thrilling ending part of the game.
