Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a third-person action-adventure game, continuing the story of Cal Kestis – a Jedi Knight – 5 years after the events in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Developed by Respawn Entertainment in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, the game significantly expands on gameplay and story depth compared to the previous installment.

In a context where the galaxy is increasingly plunged into darkness under the rule of the Empire, Cal must fight to protect his friends and the legacy of the Jedi organization. As one of the last surviving Jedi Knights, he faces many new challenges while uncovering dark secrets hidden in the galaxy.

The combat system is improved with 5 unique lightsaber stances: Single Blade balancing offense and defense, Dual-Wielding increasing attack speed but reducing damage, Double-Bladed effective in crowd control, Crossguard powerful against armored enemies, and Blaster flexibly combining ranged attacks with close combat.

Players can use a variety of Force abilities such as pulling-pushing enemies, slowing down time, and manipulating enemy minds. Cal also learns new skills to enhance movement and exploration capabilities like Force Slam, Force Dash, and Double Jump, allowing access to previously unreachable areas.

The game world expands with many diverse planets, each place carrying a unique style of terrain and ecology. Players can freely explore, search for new equipment, upgrade skills, and solve complex environmental puzzles to unlock hidden secrets.

Cal is supported by reliable teammates on the journey. Cere Junda – former Jedi Master who always accompanies and guides, BD-1 – a small robot that helps scan the environment and heal, Merrin – Nightsister witch with unique magical abilities, and Bode Akuna – mercenary with personal motives in the war.

The diverse character customization system allows players to change Cal's outfits, lightsaber, and other accessories. Each piece of equipment not only changes appearance but also affects stats and combat style.
