Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted is a spectacular remake of the legendary tower defense game from PopCap Games. Officially released on October 23, 2025, the game offers the classic garden defense experience with stunning HD graphics and many exciting new contents.

After 16 years since the first launch, the backyard battle between Plants and Zombies returns on a larger scale and with outstanding quality improvements. Gamers will re-experience intense confrontations with fully upgraded visuals, new levels added, and the revelation of 15 years of previously undisclosed series history.

The classic lane-based tactical gameplay remains unchanged, where players plant special types of plants to defend against waves of attacking zombies. From pea shooters, sunflowers producing solar energy to defensive wall-nuts – all are meticulously redrawn with a resolution many times higher than the original version.
The new highlight is the local cooperative mode, allowing two people to protect the garden together with 100% more avocados. There is also a PvP mode where one person controls zombies to face off directly. This is the first time the co-op mode appears on multiple platforms after the old PSN and Xbox Live Arcade versions.

The game adds polished mini-games like Wall-Nut Bowling along with two completely new modes. Cloudy Day Mode limits sunlight, turning planting into a strict tactical challenge. Rest In Peace Mode is a hardcore mode with a permadeath mechanic – one mistake can make you start over from the beginning.

The Tree of Wisdom returns with a more convenient interface, allowing easy toggling of image options. The new art and concept library lets fans admire previously unrevealed pre-production sketches and explore the development journey of this blockbuster game.
The remaster version also features a surprise cameo from Valve's Headcrab Zombie appearing in the game, along with many secrets and easter eggs honoring 16 years of the franchise's history. The sound and animation effects have also been significantly improved, providing a smoother and more vivid experience than ever before.

The game is released simultaneously on Steam, Epic Games Store, EA App, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S at a price of 19.99 USD. Pre-order customers will receive an exclusive Retro Peashooter skin when the game launches.
