Overcooked! 2 is the sequel to the famous cooperative cooking game series, developed by Ghost Town Games and published by Team17. The game takes players back to the lively Onion Kingdom, where they must face a new force called The Unbread – the sinister bread loaves threatening the kingdom.

In the game, players will take on the role of chefs and cooperate with each other to prepare, cook, and serve a variety of dishes from sushi, pastries to burgers and pizza. The kitchens in the game are designed with many unique mechanisms such as moving floors, teleportation gates, and even kitchen spaces that can change positions during gameplay.

One of the highlights of part 2 is the online play feature appearing for the first time in the series, allowing up to 4 players to connect and cooperate with each other over the internet. In addition, the game still retains the familiar local co-op mode so players can enjoy fun moments alongside friends and family.

The game's graphics have been upgraded with a lively and colorful 3D cartoon style. The kitchens are designed with diverse themes ranging from sushi restaurants, magic schools to distant planets. The in-game sound is also carefully crafted with cheerful background music and realistic sound effects during cooking.

The Gourmet Edition version of the game includes the original game along with 5 expansions: Too Many Cooks, Surf ‘n’ Turf, Campfire Cook Off, Night of the Hangry Horde, and Carnival of Chaos. Each DLC adds new dishes, levels, and challenges, providing dozens of hours of engaging gameplay.

The game received many positive reviews from critics and players with an average Metacritic score of 78/100. Overcooked! 2 is highly praised for its fun gameplay, competitiveness, and ability to create interesting chaotic situations, especially suitable for party gaming sessions with friends.
