Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut is a unique open world action-adventure game, developed by Sucker Punch Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. This game takes players back to the year 1274, in the context of the Mongol invasion of the Japanese island of Tsushima.

The story revolves around the main character Jin Sakai, the last samurai of the Sakai clan, who must stand up and fight to defend his homeland against the invading army led by Khotun Khan. After his defeat in his first battle, Jin is forced to abandon his traditional samurai principles to become “Ghost,” a warrior who acts in the shadows to liberate the island of Tsushima.

The Director's Cut version expands the content with the all-new Iki Island area, where Jin must confront new enemies and discover secrets about himself and his family's past. This land offers unique quests and deep stories, contributing to further perfecting the main character's story.

Regarding gameplay, the game offers a diverse combat system with many different styles. Players can choose between traditional samurai gameplay with direct sword fights, or stealth gameplay of “Ghost” to sneak in and kill enemies in the dark. The upgrade system allows players to unlock new skills and improve weapons through completing missions.

The game world is meticulously built with a large space allowing players to freely explore. From small villages and ancient temples to beautiful wilderness, each location is elaborately designed and imbued with feudal Japanese culture.

The PS5 and PC versions of Director's Cut are significantly upgraded technically with higher frame rates, faster load times, and 3D audio support. The PC version also supports Nvidia's DLSS technology, allowing the game to run smoothly on many different configurations.

In addition to single-player mode, the game also has a Legends mode that allows players to participate in online cooperative or head-to-head missions. This mode offers a more diverse experience with unique challenges and rewards, extending playtime after completing the main story.
