Need for Speed Unbound is a new generation arcade racing game with a top street racing style. This is the 25th game in the famous Need for Speed series, developed by Criterion Games – the studio behind the masterpieces Burnout Paradise and NFS Hot Pursuit.

The game immerses players into the world of Lakeshore City – a city similar to Chicago with an extensive street system and a vibrant environment. You will play as a young racer aiming to conquer The Grand – the most brutal street racing competition in the city.

The most outstanding feature of Need for Speed Unbound is its unique art style, combining realistic graphics with anime graffiti effects. When drifting, boosting, or soaring high, your car will display colorful visual effects such as wings, colored smoke, and graffiti tags, creating an unprecedented visual experience in the series.

The gameplay of the game revolves around the stressful weekly cycle, instead of the traditional day/night cycle. Players must earn money through races during the day and night to qualify for the weekly qualifiers. The "heat" system returns with higher intensity, making the police more aggressive when you cause a lot of chaos.

The game offers more than 10,000 customization options for cars and characters. From body kits, rims, wraps to cutaways (removing part of the car body), every detail can be personalized. Legendary Customs is a new feature that allows completely changing the car's appearance with special kits.

Diverse soundtrack with more than 70 songs by A$AP Rocky and AWGE, focusing on global hip-hop with nearly half of the songs not in English. The music is deeply integrated into the gameplay, creating the right rhythm for each racing situation.

Need for Speed Unbound supports both single-player mode with a story about friendship and betrayal, as well as multiplayer with weekly PvP events. The game is optimized for the new generation of consoles with 4K 60fps for the first time in the series.

After its release, the game has been continuously updated with new Volumes, adding more cars, game modes, and content. The latest Volume 9: Lockdown introduces the first motorcycle in the series along with the Subaru Impreza WRX STI ’99 and Honda Integra Type R ’98.
