Infection Free Zone is a unique tactical survival game developed by Jutsu Games, currently in Early Access on Steam. The game offers a zombie apocalypse experience with a breakthrough mechanism that allows players to choose any real location in the world as the survival setting.

The story begins when "Mad Virus" spreads at a terrifying speed across the globe. Those infected become aggressive, agile, and strong. In just a few weeks, society completely collapses. The city is deserted, with no electricity, water, or food. However, there are still some survivors who need to be protected and guided.

The most outstanding feature of the game is the ability to use OpenStreetMap data to recreate any city or town in the world. Players can enter the name of a location, download the map, and start a survival adventure right in their hometown. This system creates a unique personalized experience as players can use local knowledge to strategize.

Gameplay revolves around an intense day-night cycle. During the day, players control squads to explore and gather resources from abandoned buildings such as grocery stores, pharmacies, and weapon warehouses. However, this search is dangerous because zombies may be lurking in the shadows. At night, the settlement must face waves of attacks from ferocious zombie hordes.

The building system allows players to establish an Infection Free Zone anywhere. Players need to set up shelters, production facilities, and renovate existing buildings according to new needs. Build farms and power plants for self-sufficiency. Set up a defense system with fences, gates, and watchtowers to protect the area.

Fight in the Infection Free Zone with a variety of melee and ranged weapons, vehicles, defense systems, and lighting. Players can research vaccines or cures to achieve the ultimate victory, or simply enjoy the complete city reconstruction.

Besides zombies, players also have to face other groups of survivors. Some will be friendly and willing to trade, but other groups are extremely hostile. The complex diplomacy system requires players to carefully consider every decision.

The game has more than 50 voice-acted events and 25 different types of structures to build. With a "Mostly Positive" rating from over 13,000 players on Steam, Infection Free Zone has proven its appeal within the gaming community.
