Hobo: Tough Life is a realistic survival RPG game, putting you in the role of a homeless person in the cold city of Praslav in Eastern Europe. Unlike traditional survival games, this title deeply focuses on the story with dozens of plotlines inspired by real events.

The game setting takes place in the post-Cold War period, when the Communist regime collapsed and many people could not adapt to the new socio-economic environment. You will have to face harsh survival challenges such as keeping warm, finding food, maintaining personal hygiene, and preparing for the upcoming winter.

The game has a complex needs system that interacts with each other realistically. Poor hygiene and dirty clothes will make you smell bad, low temperatures increase the risk of illness, and eating also requires a natural digestion process. Each day it gets colder, forcing you to plan and gather supplies carefully.

To survive, you can choose many different paths, from begging, stealing to associating with criminal organizations. However, every action has serious consequences and you are not an action hero so you need to consider carefully.

The game allows building shelters from collected materials instead of sleeping on park benches. You can erect walls, roofs to avoid the weather and decorate the dwelling with found furniture. A diverse crafting system helps create necessary items for street life.

One of the highlights is the co-op multiplayer mode for up to 4 players. You can team up with friends or strangers to gather resources, build slums, and survive the harsh winter together. Cooperation brings many new survival strategies.

The vast game world with many diverse areas to explore, from different neighborhoods to hidden corners of the city. Each place has unique NPC characters with their own stories, engaging side quests, and secrets waiting to be discovered.

The game has a rich faction system, allowing you to join different groups of homeless people, create allies and enemies. The ultimate goal is to become the "King of the Homeless" – a throne that has been vacant for more than a decade and is waiting for a worthy person.
