Grim Dawn: Definitive Edition is an action role-playing game set in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world where humanity is on the brink of extinction. In this world, iron is more valuable than gold and faith is the hardest thing to obtain.

The game takes place in the land of Cairn, which is devastated by the war between two supernatural races: Aetherials and Cthonians. Aetherials are entities from another dimension using humans as puppets, while Cthonians want to destroy humanity to prevent the domination of the Aetherials.

The player takes on the role of a character who survived after being possessed by the Aetherial, now having the ability to combine two of the nine unique character classes: Soldier, Demolitionist, Occultist, Nightblade, Arcanist, Shaman, Inquisitor, Necromancer, and Oathkeeper. Each class has more than 25 skills and its own variants.

The game stands out with a rich item system including hundreds of unique items ranging from common to legendary, along with more than 20,000 magical suffix combinations and 200 rare suffixes. Players can customize equipment appearance through Illusionist and collect additional skills from special items.

The mission system features choices and deep consequences, with more than 35 main missions and 75 story notes. The player's decisions can affect the fate of strangers, family, and even the village.

The Devotion system allows skill customization through a giant constellation map, unlocked by restoring destroyed shrines. Players can assist surviving factions, rebuild structures, and rescue people to receive special rewards.

The game supports multiplayer with up to 4 players, features dynamic weather by region, and a crafting system based on formulas with over 250 unique recipes. The Definitive Edition includes the original game along with the Ashes of Malmouth, Forgotten Gods expansions, and the Crucible mode.
