Dead Space Remake is the classic science fiction survival horror work returning, completely rebuilt from scratch with stunning graphics and mysterious 3D sound. The game offers a deeper and more immersive experience than ever before with remarkable improvements in visuals and gameplay.

Isaac Clarke is a civilian engineer on a mission to repair the giant mining ship USG Ishimura, only to discover that a horrific tragedy has occurred. The entire crew has been massacred and Nicole – Isaac's beloved girlfriend – has gone missing somewhere on the ship.

Now, alone and with only his technical tools and skills, Isaac must race against time to find Nicole while the nightmare mystery of what happened on the Ishimura gradually unfolds. Trapped with hostile creatures called Necromorphs, Isaac must struggle to survive not only against the escalating horrors of the ship but also against his own mental collapse.

The game uses the Frostbite engine to deliver stunning graphics with real-time lighting effects, interactive fog, and completely revamped environmental details. The USG Ishimura space is now seamlessly connected, allowing players to move freely between floors without needing trams as in the original version.

The most outstanding feature is the Intensity Director system – an intelligent AI with over 1200 unique events, automatically adjusting the level of tension and creating unexpected terrifying situations. This system ensures that even when revisiting explored areas, players are always on alert with random appearances of Necromorphs, changing lighting, and environmental effects.

Isaac Clarke now has his own voice (voiced by Gunner Wright), bringing emotional depth and character to the protagonist. The combat system is improved with the Peeling System allowing to tear apart and destroy the Necromorphs' bodies in various ways depending on the type of weapon used.

The zero-gravity mechanism has been upgraded with jet propulsion, allowing Isaac to freely fly in a zero-gravity environment instead of having to jump from one surface to another like the original version. The game completely removes loading screens, creating a seamless, uninterrupted experience.

Dead Space Remake adds many new lore details from later parts and expands the roles of supporting characters who previously only appeared in audio logs. The game also has an Impossible Mode with an extremely challenging permadeath mechanic.
