Days Gone is an action, adventure, and survival game in the open world of Sony Interactive Entertainment. Set two years after a global pandemic, the game puts players in the role of Deacon St. John – a former member of a motorcycle gang, now a bounty hunter in a world full of death.

In the survival journey, players will explore the wild Pacific region with diverse terrain ranging from jungles, grasslands to snow-covered plains and lava fields. Each area hides dangers from criminal gangs and Freakers – creatures infected by a mutating virus.

Gameplay focuses on gathering resources, crafting weapons and traps, upgrading skills to survive. The Drifter motorcycle plays an important role, being an indispensable means of transportation in this vast world. Players can customize and upgrade the vehicle to suit their play style.

The game stands out with a dynamic weather system and a day-night cycle that directly affects gameplay. Freakers will adapt to the environment and surrounding humans, creating tense situations that force players to change strategies flexibly.

The game's storyline revolves around Deacon's emotional journey as he faces despair, betrayal, and regret after losing his loved ones. The story raises profound questions about human nature when confronted with the daily struggle for survival.

The PC version is optimized with many advanced features such as support for ultra-wide screens, unlimited frame rate, and improved graphics with higher detail, wider viewing angles, and longer plant display distance. The game also adds modes like New Game Plus, Survival Mode, Challenge Mode, and many unique motorcycle skins.
