Cronos: The New Dawn is a brutal third-person survival horror game where you fight for the future by saving the past. Burn monsters before they fuse, extract souls from the living and adapt or die.

Set in a gloomy world where rustic Eastern European architectural style combines with retro-futurist technology, the game offers a fascinating story bridging the past and the future. In the past, you witnessed the world in The Change – a cataclysmic event that changed humanity forever. In the desolate wasteland of the future, every moment is a battle for survival against dangerous mutated creatures.

You play the role of a Traveler working for the mysterious organization Collective, whose mission is to search the futuristic wasteland looking for time cracks that will take you to Poland in the 1980s. In a dangerous, desolate world, survival depends on the skills of strategizing and planning ahead.

The enemies are nightmarish creatures born from the ruins of humanity – defeating them requires you to make the most of your arsenal. You can manipulate temporal Anomalies to pave your way through desolate environments, while gathering additional resources, limited ammunition and supplies.

Creatures that are destroyed will not stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others through a gruesome process called Merging – becoming much faster, tougher and deadlier. The only way to prevent it? Burn their bodies and do it quickly.

Your mission is to locate important people from the past who perished in the disaster. Using the almighty Harvester, you can extract their Essence and take it with you into the future. But be wary: these spirits have a profound impact on your journey.

The more Essence you carry, the more haunted your suit becomes – increasing your power on the battlefield but also bringing with it whispers in your ears and flashing images, driving you to the brink of madness.
