CloverPit is a unique combination of the rogue-lite style of Balatro and the breath-taking horror atmosphere of Buckshot Roulette. You wake up in an old prison cell, locked together with a demonic slot machine and an ATM. Your only mission is to earn enough money to pay off your debt before the deadline, otherwise the floor will open and you will fall into the abyss.

The game offers slot machine gameplay but is not a gambling simulation. You will manipulate the slot machine through more than 150 items and special Lucky Charms. Each charm has a unique effect, from increasing the winning rate, doubling the number of coins earned, to changing the symbols on the reels. When skillfully combined, they create huge combos with exponentially increasing scores.

CloverPit uses rough pixel graphics with a characteristic psychological horror style. The dark prison room with blood stains on the slot machine, eerie sounds, and sarcastic dialogue from the invisible narrator create a suffocating atmosphere. The game particularly emphasizes the theme of addiction and the despair of having to constantly spin the machine to survive.

The highlight of the game is the meta-progression mechanism and the unlock system. Each time you play, you can unlock new lucky charms, modifiers that change the rules, and supportive power-ups. The game supports seeded runs so you can challenge yourself with the same initial conditions. The Endless Mode allows you to push your score infinitely high after completing the main story.

The build system in CloverPit is extremely diverse. You can focus on eliminating low score icons, increasing deposit interest rates, or activating combos from special patterns. Discovering synergy between lucky charms brings great satisfaction when your strategy proves effective.

The hidden story of the game is gradually revealed through multiple plays. You are not simply repaying a debt but also gradually uncovering the dark conspiracy behind this system. The game suggests that your suffering is being observed, controlled, and may be part of a much larger plan.
