Enhanced traversal mechanics give players more freedom to move through environments, reach elevated positions, flank opponents, and approach encounters from different angles.

Combined with the redesigned Create-a-Class and Gunsmith systems, players can build weapons specifically suited to different ranges, maps, and tactical roles.

Story & Campaign

The campaign begins when North Korea launches a full-scale invasion of South Korea, turning a routine military operation into a rapidly escalating international crisis.

Players take control of Private Park, a young South Korean soldier forced to fight through collapsing cities and major military counteroffensives.

At the same time, Captain Price operates outside the military system, pursuing his own mission and seeking a powerful weapon that could shift the global balance of power.

The two storylines gradually converge as the regional conflict expands into a worldwide threat.

The campaign takes players across a variety of locations and combat scenarios, including:
