Call of Duty: Ghosts is a first-person shooter game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision in 2013. Marking the 10th main installment in the series, the game features a near-future setting instead of the world wars as before.

The game takes place in a world where the United States has been attacked by nuclear weapons and weakened. The Alliance of American Nations – a new superpower emerging from the South American oil powers – has invaded this country. Players take on the roles of members of the special forces unit "Ghosts" led by Elias Walker, along with his two sons Logan and Hesh, fighting to protect their homeland.

Regarding gameplay, the campaign mode allows players to participate in various missions with more flexible movement mechanics such as leaning against objects without having to leave cover. For the first time in the series, the game allows character gender customization along with thousands of options for appearance and equipment.

Multiplayer introduces the “Squads” mode allowing the formation of a team of 10 characters, playable solo or cooperatively. New modes like “Cranked” require continuously defeating opponents to avoid self-destruction, and “Blitz” – a race to break through enemy lines.
The game has unique features such as a dynamic map that changes in real time, an Extinction mode fighting ancient Cryptid creatures. Advanced graphics technology provides a more realistic visual and audio experience for each match.

With 20,000 character creation options, over 20 new Kill Streaks such as Juggernaut Maniac and Helo Scout, along with more than 30 new weapons including the Marksman Rifles class, Call of Duty: Ghosts delivers a comprehensive and deep shooting game experience.
