A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a survival horror game set in the universe of the famous film franchise of the same name. Players will take on the role of Alex Taylor – a college student with asthma, struggling to survive in a post-apocalyptic world.

The story takes place between the events of A Quiet Place: Day One and the first film. The plot revolves around the survival journey of Alex and her boyfriend Martin as they search for food and medicine. After Martin sacrifices himself, Alex has to face the survival challenge alone while pregnant.

Stealth gameplay is a key factor, requiring players to move very quietly to avoid attracting the attention of monsters. The Phonometer – a sound measuring device – will help monitor the noise level around. Exceeding the safe threshold means being detected and attacked.

Psychological stress is reflected through the management of the character's asthma. Players need to consider using inhalers and stress-relief medication when necessary. Every step is important, requiring careful calculation to avoid collisions with objects that cause noise.

The game features detailed graphics with a characteristic gloomy atmosphere. Lively sound combined with a unique mic feature allows players to interact realistically, increasing the difficulty as monsters can detect noises from the surrounding environment.

The game experience brings thrilling and tense feelings like in the original movie. The deep storyline along with the creative gameplay mechanics create a distinctive highlight. The game is released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms from October 17, 2024.
