9 Kings is a unique roguelike deckbuilder strategy game, perfectly combining kingdom building and card battle. You will start from a humble village and develop into a mighty fortress through thousands of different combinations of buildings, combat units, spells, and tactical placement positions.

From a small village to a giant fortress, your capital will recruit armies and develop strength. Expand the kingdom strategically over time and build it to survive through decades of war and conflict.

The game features a variety of combat units ranging from powerful knights and dark mages, to high-damage witches and bomb throwers, as well as savage little demons and walking mushrooms. There are dozens of different units to command and fight. Accumulate gold to hire thousands of mercenaries, use dark magic to resurrect the dead, and harness natural power to defeat enemies.

Each king among the 9 kings has a different starting deck consisting of unique buildings, armies, and spells. However, you can loot from opposing kings who attack your territory to access cards from their separate decks. Make peace with those whose units do not fit your play style, and declare war on kings who possess the power and units you desire.

The game allows you to combine cards in countless different ways. Experiment with crazy builds and watch giant armies fight for your crown. Survive as long as possible against increasingly powerful enemies, or break the game and watch all challenges collapse before you.

Gameplay takes place on a 3×3 grid with 9 land tiles, where you place cards representing buildings, units, or special effects. Each card can be upgraded by collecting copies or using buff effects. Combat occurs automatically in an autobattler style, where you can control some special skills such as archers or magic.

With the roguelike system, each playthrough offers a different experience. You can unlock new kings, each with their own playstyle – from the balanced King of Nothing, the magic-focused King of Spells, the money-earning King of Greed, to the King of Blood who sacrifices allies to gain power.

The game also has a diverse event system and a merchant mechanism that allows you to buy new cards. Crazy combos and powerful perks can break the game balance, helping you become the king of kings.
